Panicking with asthma :D

A friend told me not to panic and he was right of course. Panicking makes me feel worse and it can also make symptoms more difficult. But it is evening again and I am suffering from cough attacks and I am really scared of the night ahead. I think part of trembling is lack of sleep too. I feel anyway that I breathe easier now than I did in the morning before seeing the doctor. After that, I have been adding on the medication and it feels good. Well, better anyway.

It is just not so comfortable and soothing to see a doctor get worried.

Heard of a virus medicine - but it should be taken almost immediately when the symptoms begin - and that is when I usually don't even realize yet that something is going on. Must talk about it next time with the specialist.

Sick leave

I went to doctor this morning, after a most horrible night with continuous coughing and short of breath and real difficulties with breathing. Was put to one week's sick leave due to acute, very difficult asthma. Medication that already was increased was doubled. I am shivering and trembling after having taken all that though most of it is inhaled... still. I wish that I don't have to go through anything like last night any more.

An incredibly good article. Boycott body bashing, because it does not feed our hearts or souls and it is harmful to children who might hear it. There are more important things to discuss than diets, kg:s and losing and gaining and body appearance. Go us! Thank goodness we are not all alike!

Asthma

After a really long and difficult period of asthma getting worse I have tonight had normal values of outhaling (PEF) - and it feels so great! I am really happy!

Christmas tree

Spent the entire day wrapping Christmas presents for relatives - lovely! We also brought in the Christmas tree and my youngest daughter decorated it - now it is fileld with decorations and looks as wonderful as any Christmas tree in a family where you have kids to decorate it and enjoy doing so! I have a two-week vacation on my favorite time of the year and I am happy!
